“ Pleasantly surprised...bought a few boxes of chicken and biscuits for a party and it was a hit!!! ”
“ Honestly better than KFC by a country mile. Their chicken is hands down better, without a doubt. They have seriously elevated their biscuit game. If you're lucky enough to be there when a fresh batch comes out they are buttery, fluffy, flakey and delicious. They have surprisingly strong mashed potatoes with just as solid brown gravy (wish there was an option to add extra gravy they've never been able to accommodate this request at any of the locations). Idk if this location has the mac n cheese (I know the hillside ave location does) and it's serviceable as a little extra side. I would never pick a KFC again after experiencing these locations. Can't speak to sandwiches, burgers or fries as I've only had the fried chicken, biscuits, mashed and mac but have not been disappointed once when here. It should be noted that all my experiences here have been between 12am-4am. I work overnights and the service is always pretty speedy at that time so I can't speak to ordinary business hours. If I had one criticism it would just be that the music that corporate pumps into the store is generic and like odd choices. It's not just out of touch with the local neighborhood it's out of touch for the east coast/Tri-state, NYC area. But overall I've enjoyed my experiences here. Popeyes might still have the edge but it's not by a super wide margin. And every time I walk into a popeyes its always chaos and bedlam, regardless of what time. This location, as is the hillside location very peaceful. ”

“ Texas chicken and burgers are pretty good! What's better? I would say the chicken is on point! Burgers are tasty and they give a nice portion. I loved the chicken tenders! The bacon cheeseburger was satisfying, the cheese fries pretty darn good and the mashed potatoes okay but were a little dry. ”
